Mary K. Coyle

Mary K. Coyle, 80, of Middletown, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Hamilton on September 29, 1921 to parents Joseph and Katherine (Zettler) Meister. After attending business school for 2 years, Mary went to work for Herring-Hall Safe Company in the accounts payable department. She worked there for 10 years. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church, and Young At Heart. Mary loved to crochet and was a wonderful seamstress. She worked the voting polls for 25 years; volunteered at Middletown Regional Hospital and Meals On Wheels; and was an avid bowler. Mary is survived by her husband Thomas Coyle whom she married in 1955; son Thomas (Sharon) Coyle, Jr. of Middletown; daughters Anne (Donald Jr.) Horn of Middletown and MaryRose (David) Schiering of Danbury, Connecticut; brother Louis Meister of Hamilton; sisters Gretchen Brosier of Hamilton, Dorothy Kiesewetter, and Betty Koeppel, both of Middletown; and grandchildren Abigail Horn, Robert, Hannah, Brian, & Brendan Schiering. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 6, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
