Mary A. Toth

January 6, 1914 — August 12, 2009

Mary A. Toth went to her eternal reward on Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
She was born on January 6, 1914, in Middletown, Ohio, to parents Stephan and Anna (Belovic) Toth. She was preceded in death by four sisters Julia Heggi, Ann Nicely, Frances Molnar, and Elizabeth Slezak; two brothers Steven and John Toth; one son Mark Fields, christened Thomas Toth; and the love of her life and dear friend Ronald Moren.
Mary is survived by one sister, Wilma "Jeanne" Bukosky, one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

She graduated from St. John High School in Middletown. At the age of 17, she went to work for Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Jones as a nanny for their three children. Mary began her career at Raymond Bag in Middletown, working in the factory. She proudly realized her dream of completing secretarial studies at Middletown Business College and became a personal secretary for Mr. Dorenbusch and Mr. Frank Richmond, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish Ladies' Society, the Third Order of Mary, Holy Family Prayer Group, and Cursillo.

During the last 15 years of her life, Mary lived with her sister Wilma "Jeanne" and was lovingly cared for by her nieces Marilyn Kowalczyk, Anita Scheibert, Betsy Seibert; her nephew Richard Bukosky; her great nieces Gloria, Marianne, and Alissa Scheibert and Laura Bukosky; and very special ladies Mary Lee Bukosky and Pauline Easter.

Mary most enjoyed vacations to the Outer Banks with family, Hungarian dances in Dayton, attending church functions, doing crochet and embroidery work, and visiting family and friends. She always lit up the room with her vibrant personality and unforgettable sense of humor. Mary had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, and by her own account had "a very good life." She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by many people.
