Marie W. Johns

Marie W. Johns, 92, widow of Alpheus R. Johns, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Garden Manor Nursing Home. Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Herman Frederick and Anna (Bogan) Tigges.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Iwig, and husband David, of Lexington, KY; a son, William R. Johns, and wife Sarah, of Bexley, OH; six grandchildren, Jonathan Iwig, and wife Lauren, of Raleigh, NC, Christopher Johns of Columbus, OH, Jeffrey Iwig of St. Louis, MO, Molly Johns of Bexley, OH, Laura Iwig of Lexington, KY, and Elizabeth Johns of Bexley, OH.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 1:30 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown, with Pastor Chuck Testas of Mt. Olivet United Presbyterian Church officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, prior to the service, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Miltonville Cemetery . Casket bearers will be Mrs. Johns’ six grandchildren.
