Lucy J. Horner

Lucy J. Horner, 82, of Middletown, died Monday, September 19, 2011, at Kensington Place. She was born in Middletown on February 21, 1929 to parents Walter and Eliza (Wood) Rothgeb.

Mrs. Horner is survived by her daughters, Lesa (Lathan Bradford) Spore & Janie Carpenter; four grandchildren, Brandon (Tori Cruey) Horner, Carleen (Cozzi) Spore, Michael Carpenter & Megan Carpenter; and four great grandchildren, Morrigan, Maison, Jasmine & Bryson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Horner in 2004 and her parents.

The family would like to thank Kensington Place for all the care they gave Mom during her stay there. Also to Destiny Hospice for their care of Mom. Many thanks to Chaplain Gary and Mom's nurse, Angela.

Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
