Leonard R. Myers

Leonard R. Myers, 75, of Middletown, died Monday, December 9, 2013, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania on July 13, 1938 to parents Menno M. and Katie S. (Rosenberger) Myers.

Leonard taught at Northridge High School and also was a science & math instructor at the University of Dayton, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Susan Lee (Reid) Myers; daughters, Carol Ann (Bill) Rice, Linda Sue Fross & Donna Kay (Scott) Howard; sisters, Ella Mae Bohrer & Eileen June (Neil) Kehler and grandchildren, Kevin Rice, Katie Rice, Matthew Howard & Ellen Fross.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Willard Myers.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4930 Central Ave., Middletown with Bishop David Nall officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
