Leah E. Mcknight

Leah E. McKnight, 86, of Middletown, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Trenton on April 19, 1924 to parents Joseph and Marie (Stewart) Poling.

Leah worked as an accountant for Armco Steel Corporation. She was a member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was an extremely loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. McKnight is survived by her son, Stephen (Shirley) McKnight; three grandchildren, Micah Welch, Aaron (Marianne) Welch and Marie McKnight; two great grandchildren, Kyle Jackson and Jacob Welch; and close family friend, Jewell Buchanan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McKnight in 1991 and her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Elder Harry Bryan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
