Katherine Marschman

Katherine Marschman, 83, of Middletown, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on October 1, 1927 to parents Fred and Kathryn (Mikulic) Slezak.

Katherine was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church.

Mrs. Marschman is survived by her husband, Kenneth Marschman; sons, Robert (Glenda) Newman and Joseph (Patricia) Newman; daughters, Diana L. (Mark) Lawrence and Donna (Larry) Waite; ten grandchildren, Chris (Tracey) Newman, Heather (Brad) Trent, Joe (Laura) Newman, Sharon (Brian) Neanover, Patrick (Charlene) Newman, Aaron Newman, Jason Newman, Jennifer (Brian) Sleeth, Tim (Jackie) Wright and Shane Adams; and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Kinsey; parents; and two brothers, Victor Slezak and Fred Slezak Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
