Katherine E. Steele

Katherine E. Steele, 89, of Portsmouth, Ohio, died on January 10, 2005, at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born in Middletown, on November 4, 1915 to parents John and Susie (Engle) Draxler.

Mrs. Steele worked in the offices of Armco Steel Corporation and also at Dr. Flagel´s office.

Katherine is survived by one son, Hubert S. Steele, Jr. of W. Portsmouth; one brother, John Draxler of Middletown; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Steele of Largo, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert S. Steele, Sr. in 2004; a son, John Paul Steele; and a brother, Charles Draxler.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Major R. Douglas Hart officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2005 from 5-8 PM at funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
