Karen Sue Johnson, 64, of Monroe, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 1, 1950 to parents James Andrew and Jannetta Marie (Mottolo) Johnson.

Karen worked at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village in resident activities.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her brothers, Larry James Johnson, Bryon Wade Johnson; sisters, Novella (Paul) Pyle, Sherry Ann (Bradley) Sheets, Mary (Jerry) Young, Betty Johnson, Donna (Walter) Hawkins; aunt, Betty Johnson; special friends, Tricia, Becky, Millie, Barb and Renee; many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Robert James Johnson.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Mary H. Kittredge Chapel at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe with Chaplain Karen Fleming officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
