Joyce A. Long

Joyce A. (Kilgore) Long, 66, of Monroe, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia on June 14, 1941 to parents Marshall and Betty (Hall) Kilgore.

Mrs. Long worked as an executive secretary for Dayton Power & Light.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Willard Long; daughter, Barbara Ann (John) Myers; son, Willard Long II; brother, Marshall Kilgore II; her mother-in-law, Elnora Long; niece, Sondra (Craig) Hoopes; and grandchildren, Christopher Trapp, Brianna Trapp, Jacob Myers, Joshua Myers, Logan Long, Cameron Couch, and Cori Byrge.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Minister Craig Hoopes officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
