Josephine M. Pallo

Josephine M. Pallo, 93, of Middletown, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Middletown on May 10, 1916 to parents John and Mary (Doktorik) Kaufman.

Mrs. Pallo was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Parish.

She is survived by her three children, Edward (Judy) Pallo, James (Laurel) Pallo and Rebecca (James "Bill") Countryman; brother, John Kaufman; sisters, Mary Farkas and Teresa (Paul) Sebastian; six grandchildren, Suzanne (Alex) Zelling, Michelle (Mike) Ratliff, Erica (Maico Almeida Dossantos) Pallo, Evan (Alice Lee) Pallo, Heather (Roger) Bailey and Todd (Melanie) Pallo; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Pallo in 1994; her parents; and siblings, Joe Kaufman, Betty Janosik and Frank Kaufman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father Paul Gebhardt as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
