Joseph A. Pollock, 87, of Trenton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on October 25, 1934, to Clarence and Dorothy (Jung) Pollock.
Following graduation, Joe served in the United States Army. He then began work with Servomation in Middletown and discovered a career he enjoyed. He went on to work for Derringer Vending & Catering, retiring as a manager in 1992, after 29 years in the business. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He won multiple local fishing competitions. He was also instrumental in founding essential educational programs for the developmentally delayed in Butler County.
Joe adored his family and will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara (Hines) Pollock; three daughters, Jennifer Pollock, Amy (Steven Braun) Pollock and Maryann (Prashanth) Bhat; sister, Mary Pollock; brothers, Raymond (Carol) Pollock and George (Marilyn) Pollock; and grandchildren, Asha (Daniel) Allen, Alyssa (Cody Sproat) Bhat and Monica (Jake Henkel) Bhat.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ed Pollock.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Hawthorn Glen Senior Care Living Center and Hospice Care of Middletown for their excellent, compassionate care.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
