John Joseph Wright

John Joseph Wright, 74, of Monroe, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Glendale on August 24, 1935 to parents Edward James and Roberta (Cox) Wright.

John retired from General Electric. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Irene (Reed) Wright; son, John Joseph Wright Jr.; sister, JoAnn W. (Cicero) Feltner and brothers, Patrick Michael (Carol) Wright and Edward Brown Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Herre.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe with Father Terry Meehan as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
