Joan Proffitt

Joan Proffitt, 78, of Middletown, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 24, 1933 to parents Jessie and Jane (Kates) Browning.

Joan worked at Garden Manor for 12 years in housekeeping.

Mrs. Proffitt is survived by her sons, Scott (Sherry) Proffitt, Joe Proffitt, Willard Proffitt, Charles Proffitt, Steven Proffitt and daughter, Robin (Robert) Barnett and 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Joe Edgar Proffitt; son, Gary Lee Proffitt; 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
