Jimmie E. Logsdon

Jimmie E. Logsdon, 68, of Middletown, died Monday, October 10, 2016, at home. He was born in Betsy, Kentucky on September 26, 1948 to parents Earl and Pearlie (Reynolds) Logsdon.

Jim was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served on the U.S.S. Intrepid during Vietnam. He retired from Peak Technology and then was a bus driver for Middletown/Monroe School District. He was a member of the Trenton Moose #330 and former member of the Eagles Aerie #3458. Jim was an avid rider of his prized Harley Davidson and he loved spending time boating with his family in Brookville, Indiana.

Mr. Logsdon is survived by his wife, Sandy (Proffitt) Logsdon; children, Roberta Ann (Fred) Becht, John Logsdon, Lane Logsdon, Matthew (Tabitha) Timberman, Jeffrey Timberman, Rikkijo (fiancé Austin Staggs) Timberman, Jimmy (Paula) Logsdon & Ryan (Chantel) Logsdon; grandchildren, Nick & Hannah Ralston, Olivia, Jaxon & Sophia Timberman, Madilyn Timberman, Tommy & Faith Logsdon, and Leah Logsdon; great grandchildren, Emma, Garrett & Evelyn Ralston and Aidyn Hellmich; sisters, Jean (Jay) Cottrill & Lucinda (Jim) Huff; and special friend/brother, Randy (Becky) Picadio Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Norma; and uncles, Glen Reynolds & Tom Reynolds.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Ed Bastien officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. In honor of Jim, please join him on his last Harley ride to Butler County Memorial Park where military honors will be conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Toy Run, 3229 Burnett Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
