Jeannette R. Montgomery, age 90, of Franklin, died October 16, 2014, at Spring Hills, Middletown. She was born January 31, 1924 to Maurice E. & Irma J. Robison.

Jeannette graduated from Franklin High School and Miami Jacobs Business College. She was employed at Frigidaire until she married Harold Montgomery in 1946. She & Harold were married 64 years. Two family farms on Shaker Road were in her family for over a hundred years. Jeannette was a charter member of Convent Presbyterian Church in Springboro. She was a member of the Amicae Women's Club and a leader for the Franklin Aggies 4-H Club. She was the Woman of the Year for her church in 2004.

Survivors include her son Richard (Pat); grandson, Stephen (Amy); step granddaughters, Ashley & Sarah Stella; and step great granddaughter, Aurora Stella.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and her parents.

Father John Civille will conduct private graveside services at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Spring Hills and also Hospice of Dayton for the excellent care and attention given to Jeannette.
