James E. Barnett

James E. Barnett, 70, of Monroe, died Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 23, 1944 to parents P. E. and Florence E. (Davis) Barnett.

Mr. Barnett served in the United States Army and worked for Pepsi. He was a member of Struthers United Methodist Church, but recently was attending Grace Baptist Church.

Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife, Diana Vinkler; sons, Jim (Brenda) Barnett, Scott (Krista) Barnett; sister, Mary Louise Balogh and grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Grant, Gracie and Grayson.

James was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Grow.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 7:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
