James C. Smith

James C. "Jim" Smith 84, of West Chester Township, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Heritagespring of West Chester. He was born in Woodbine, Kentucky on August 23, 1935 to parents, the late Steve and Lela Opal (Terrell) Smith.

Jim had worked as a rail-car inspector for CSX, retiring in 1997 after 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Jim is survived by his two sons, Steve Smith & Mike (Jackie) Smith; two grandchildren, Madison Smith & Andrew Smith; sisters, Carol, Judy, & Jewel; and brother, Paul.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bobby.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Pine Hill Cemetery, in Corbin, Kentucky.
