Irma "Jean" Soule

Irma “Jean” Soule, age 91, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 11, 1928 in Monroe, the daughter of the late Norman and Hazel (Pasley) Hazelton.

She was married to the love of her life, Robert E. Soule, for 51 years. Irma adored her family and spending time with them, they will miss her dearly. She loved to read, scrapbook, paint, raise flowers and watch her birds at the birdfeeder.

Irma is survived by her devoted children, Deborah (Charles) Grubb, Chuck Soule, Jeanine (James) Stroud, and Daniel (Deborah) Soule; her 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren ; and her brothers, James (Sandra) Hazelton and John (Susan) Hazelton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; her step-mother, Elizabeth Hazelton; her daughters, Sherry Nicely and Janne Soule; brother, Stephen Hazelton; and her dear friends, Ada and Mike Mikesell.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 11am, at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd Middletown, OH 45044 (at Bonita Dr.) with Chaplain Jody Burgin officiating. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.
