Harry L. Grosardt

Harry L. Grosardt, 78, of Middletown, died Friday, August 6, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Bromley, Kentucky on January 10, 1932 to parents Harry L. and Ellenora (Rhinehart) Grosardt.

Mr. Grosardt retired from AK Steel after 34 years in the Cold Strip. Harry served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 218, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3809, Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church, and the Middletown Bowling Hall of Fame.

Mr. Grosardt is survived by his wife, Helen G. (Hodge) Grosardt; son, Harry L. (Stephanie); daughter, Lisa (John) Deisenroth and brother, Don (Judy) Grosardt and grandchildren, Logan and Gabriel Grosardt, and many other loving family and friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen Swimm.

Funeral Prayers will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
