Harold L. Gainey

Harold L. Gainey, 82, of West Carrolton, OH went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 19, 2008, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Chester, S. Carolina on December 21, 1925 to parents Fred and Rebecca (James) Gainey. Harold worked for the City of Middletown for many years. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Gainey is survived by his 2nd wife, Mabel "Bobbie" (Crider) Gainey; stepsons, Gerald Conley, Doug, Ray and John Riley and stepdaughters, Sue Gibon and Wanda Cates and their families; brother, Jimmy (Lavonda) Gainey; sisters, Ava Gheen and Gladys (Dallas) Earnest; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Hazel Gainey; sisters, Jenette Gainey, Louella Waters and Nancy Conley; Stepson, Bill (Lois) Conley; brothers-in-law, Johnny Gheen and Johnny Waters; and great grandson, Cailen Conley.

Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2008 at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd from 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Roberts Road Pentecostal Church with Pastor Jimmy Jewell officiating.Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
