Frank L. Montgomery

Frank L. Montgomery, 91, of Middletown, died Monday, May 4, 2015, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Cincinnati on April 15, 1924 to parents Frank C. and Ann (Kammerer) Montgomery.

Frank was an alumni of the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University and was employed as an accountant for Sorg Paper Company for 37 years. He was a member of Holy Family Parish. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Mr. Montgomery is survived by his son, James Montgomery of Independence, KY; grandsons, Lt. Col. John (Crystal) Montgomery of Clarksville, TN & Michael (Lauren) Montgomery of Edgewood, KY; and great granddaughters, Ashley & Autumn Montgomery of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by longtime friend, Jeannine Davidson of Middletown.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita M. Montgomery in 1988 and his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cincinnati.
