Francis "Frank" J. Fedders

Francis Joseph "Frank" Fedders, 86, of Middletown, died Monday, January 2, 2017, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Franklin on September 12, 1930 to parents Joseph and Mary (Hanses) Fedders.

Frank graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary College in Baltimore, Maryland with a degree in philosophy. Frank served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 - 1959. He was employed by Armco Steel as a production scheduler for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Holy Family Parish. Upon retirement, Frank volunteered his time to the American Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. He was an avid golfer, winemaker and sailboat racer.

Frank is survived by his brother, Daniel (Carol) Fedders. Uncle Cork is also survived by 11 nieces & nephews, 11; 28 great nieces & nephews; and 10 great great nieces & nephews. Frank was dearly loved by his family and was an important part of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Agnes Holthaus; and brother, Alfred.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at church. Interment will be at Woodhill Cemetery.
