Frances R. Miller

Frances R. Miller, 89, of Middletown, died Sunday, February 18, 2007, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 23, 1917 to parents Charles Frederick and Irene (Reynolds) Roberts.

Mrs. Miller had worked as an executive secretary for Armco Steel Corporation. She was a charter member of the Middletown Community Foundation and an active volunteer at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Browns Run Country Club, Middletown Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Phi Beti Psi Sorority and was a past officer of the Middletown Booster Club.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter, Patricia M. Gage of Middletown; son, Michael D. (Sondra) Miller of Powell; six grandchildren, Lincoln (Darby) Walden of Chicago, IL, Shane (Lisa) Miller of Cincinnati, Abigail (Bradford) Evans of Abbeville, SC, Nicholas (Tracy) Miller of Middletown, Scott Miller of Tampa, FL, and Martin Miller of Middletown; and three great grandchildren, Maxwell Wade Miller, Kiersta Shae Miller, and Julia Kate Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 2910 Central Ave., Middletown, with Reverend Laurence T. Doty officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Martin B. & Frances R. Miller Scholarship Fund, c/o Middletown Community Foundation, 36 Donham Plaza, Middletown, Ohio 45042.
