Donald M. Hardin

Donald M. Hardin, 52 , of Middletown, OH died Sunday, January 27, 2002 at his residence. He was a 1967 graduate of Lakota High School. He served his country as a drill sergeant in the Army before becoming a professional fire fighter for the city of Middletown. He retired as captain after 23 years of service. He was currently serving as vice president of the 4th district of Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters and as a representative for the International Association of Fire Fighters. Don was very active with Jefferson Lodge #90 F. & A.M. He was formerly the president of Rosedale Elementary P.T.A.and SAY Youth Soccer Organization. He dedicated much of his spare time to the Middletown Buckeyes 79 girls soccer team. Don is president Emeritus of the Middletown Local Fire Fighters Union 336. He was honored as "Fire Fighter of the Year" as well as being a Kentucky Colonel.
Don was preceded in death by his father Albert in 1976. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Linda M. Hardin; mother Velma (nee Dennis) Hardin; daughters Nicole M. Hardin, Lori (Anderson) Hardin Guyler, Tina (Kevin) Stacy & Jennifer Byrge; sisters Lou (Jerry) Emmert, & Sue (Lloyd) Walker; father and mother-in-law Jack & Mildred Williamson; and grandchildren Kevin, Taylor, & Hunter Stacy.
