Donald C. Horne

Donald C. Horne, 79, of Kettering, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Spring Hills Middletown. He was born in Middletown on September 25, 1934 to parents James and Josephine (Long) Horne.

Don worked as a customer service manager at Bank One / Chase Bank for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Horne is survived by his sons, Scott (Jan) Horne & Todd Horne; brother, Ralph Horne; sisters, Dorothy Hounchell, Mary Sorrell & Nancy Webster; grandchildren, Maggie, Jamie & Mari Horne; and many beloved nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Horne; parents; brothers, Hobart Horne, Wayburn Horne & Wallace Horne; and sister, Betty Fugett.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of Hospice of Dayton.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Private family service with interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420-1885.
