Donald B. Deserisy

Donald B. DeSerisy, 78, of Middletown, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Sharonville, Ohio on May 19, 1934 to parents Byron L. and Catherine (Arens) DeSerisy.

Don worked for the State of Ohio, retiring in 1997, was a farmer and retired from XTEK in Sharonville. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Mr. DeSerisy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy A. (Flickinger) DeSerisy; son, Lloyd (Tammy) DeSerisy; daughters, Martha (Craig) Sherman & Rebecca (Scott) Davis; sister, Dorothy Barkau; eight grandchildren, Wes Sherman, Dian Sherman, Cari (Ryan) McLean, Mariah DeSerisy, Tess DeSerisy, Megan (Mike) McGlothen, Tyler Duff & Carli Davis; and three great grandchildren, Leila & Midas McLean & Mason McGlothen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arthur DeSerisy & Lloyd DeSerisy; and sisters, Eleanor Weidig & Ara McCarnan.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 3:30 pm at Christ Church United Methodist, 700 S. Marshall Rd., Middletown with Reverend Norman Coleman III officiating.
