Christine Pierce

Christine Pierce, 72, of Middletown, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Morgan County, KY, on November 7, 1937 to parents Troy and Viola (Lovely) Mays.

She was a member of the Poasttown First Church of God, and dearly loved her church. She worked at General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1987.

She was "loved so good" by all, especially those who survive her, including, a daughter, Lisa Hollon; two sisters, JoAnn (Kenny) Carder and Betty (Jerry) Wright; a brother, Byron (Faye) Mays; two granddaughters, Kristen and Amber Hollon; numerous nieces and nephews; and the "apple of her eye" and longtime companion, Jerry Watts.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Seldon Mays.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Poasttown First Church of God, 6376 Middletown-Germantown Road, Poasttown with Pastor Kenny Brewer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, June 2, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

The family would like to extend specials thanks to staff at Hillspring of Springboro Health Care Center.
