Charles R. Naegelen

Charles R. Naegelen, 82, of Middletown, died Monday, August 10, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 31, 1926 to parents Charles J. and Sadie (Watson) Naegelen.

Charles worked for Aeronca, Diamond National and Square D, retiring in 1988. He served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He loved to work on electronics and enjoyed fishing and metal detecting.

Mr. Naegelen is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ada F. (Spencer) Naegelen; son, Robert G. (Lorna) Naegelen; daughter, Gail (Bill) Zecher; sisters, Mary Griffin and Beatrice Gullett; four grandchildren, Billy (Rochelle) Zecher, Abby Zecher, Sara Naegelen and Robby Naegelen; and two great grandchildren, Onica Zecher and Hailey Zecher.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Malcolm and Hospice Care of Middletown.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
