Charles Eckles, 73, of Trenton, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on December 23, 1941 to parents Hobert and Vita (Hall) Eckles.

Charles worked for Armco / AK Steel for 35 years, retiring from the Truck Section in 2004.

Mr. Eckles is survived by his wife, Mary (Fields) Eckles; son, Charles M. (Teri) Eckles; and grandchildren, Lesleigh Eckles & Matthew Eckles and great grandchildren, Auberiana, Eden, Livia and Aaliyah.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Preston DeWitt.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Rev. Kenny Tye officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
