Catherine Shirley Angst

Catherine Shirley Angst, 81, of Seven Mile, died Monday, January 2, 2017, at her home. She was born in Springdale on December 27, 1935 to the late Richard and Catherine (Nutley) Niehaus.

Shirley was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She was active with the Shiloh Knothole League of Seven Mile for over 25 years, Hands on Seven Mile for 10 years and had retired from TNT Greenhouse.

Mrs. Angst is survived by her husband, Richard Angst; children, Nancy (Ed) Vanover, Thomas (Joan) Angst, Susan (Jake) Smith, Donald (Beth) Angst, Dennis (Angie) Angst & Jerry (Shannon) Angst; brothers, Richard Niehaus, John Niehaus & Ronald Niehaus; sisters, Anna Mae Pfeiffer & Betty Waltner; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews & friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton with Father Paul Gebhardt as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
