Catherine E. "Kitty" Frey

Catherine E. "Kitty" Frey, 83, of Middletown, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on May 20, 1933 to parents William Arvle and Catherine (Russell) Evans.

Catherine loved visiting the ocean, gardening, and bird watching out her back window. She loved all types of music, and walked every day. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Catherine is survived by her husband, John Frey of 61 years; children, Vickie (Doug) Depew, Frank Frey, John (Kendra) Frey, Mary (Mark) Lindon; sisters, Judy Angst, Jeanette Evans; grandchildren, Diana, Chris, Kevin, Rachel, Jeremiah, Jacob, Jordan, Samantha; and 6 great grandchildren.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Cathy Arnold; son, Thomas Frey; brothers, Billy, Russell, Charles, Joe, Bill, and Jack Evans.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
