Betty L. Parks, 88, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 10, 1930 to parents William and Elizabeth (Montgomery) Wright. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1948 where she was a cheerleader. She married Harold Parks, the love of her life, in July of 1949; they were married 69 years this past month.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her husband, Harold Lloyd Parks; son, Steve (Kathi) Parks; grandchildren, Heather & Heidi (Brad) Ewert; and great grandchildren, Luke And Colin Ewert. Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a stay at home mom in her early years, but also participated in activities such as PTO President and was one the of the founders of the Hunter Swim Club. She enjoyed sport activities and was one of Middletown's top women bowlers in the 1960's; belonging to the 600 club. She worked at Dr. Swope and Jones Springboro Clinic for over 25 years. Later in life she enjoyed houseboating at Lake Cumberland. Her favorite activity was dancing.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
