Aurelia Latimore

Aurelia Latimore, 71, of Middletown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Heritagespring of West Chester. She was born in Middletown on January 12, 1951 to parents, John and Voncile (Purifoy) Glover.

Aurelia was a very outgoing, free-spirited "people person", which served her well with her career in the healthcare field as a nurse's aide for over 30+ years. In addition, she was also a baker at Dillman's. Her sunny personality was reflected in her love of the color yellow. She was a member of Bethel AME Church.

Aurelia is survived by her daughters, Paulette Arnold, Brandie Johnson & Erica Latimore; grandchildren, Christopher, Kristina, Aurelia, Amara & Jarvis, Jr.; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Deborah Glover; nephew, Antonio Glover; niece, Natalie Bradley; her special sisters, Milan Whitehead, Dawanna Jones & Candi Williams; as well as many other loving family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Madeline Bradley & Valeria Glover.

Funeral Service will be Monday, March 7, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Bethel AME Church, 1507 Yankee Rd., Middletown, with Reverend William Roberts officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at the church. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
