Arthur W. Nicely

Arthur W. Nicely, 85, of Edgewood, Kentucky, formerly of Middletown, OH died on Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at his residence. He was born in Middletown on March 6, 1918 to William and Irene (Hill) Nicely.

Mr. Nicely worked as a foreman for Armco Steel Corp. for 40 years. He was an excellent carpenter and was very handy around the house. He lived in Middletown until 1993, when he moved to Edgewood, Kentucky. He was a member of Holy Family Parish for 40 years, and was currently a member of St. Pius X in Edgewood.

Arthur is survived by a son, Robert A. (Rose) Nicely of Edgewood, KY; two grandchildren, Karl (Suzanne) Nicely, and Brian Nicely; a great granddaughter, Jade Nicole Nicely; two nephews; and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann M. Nicely in 1991; a granddaughter, Charissa Nicely; his parents; and a brother, Walter Nicely.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2004 from 10-11:30 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
