Amy L. Pretty

Amy L. Pretty, 57 of Middletown, died on Monday June 20, 2022 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on Jan. 23, 1965 to parents James William Pretty and Sue Anne (Finlay) Pretty. Amy graduated from Lemon-Monroe High School and Miami University with a degree in Library Science.

Amy had worked for Readmore News and Bookstore, Joanne Fabrics, in child care at the YMCA in downtown Middletown and as a receptionist for Hamilton Window & Door. Amy had volunteered at Middletown Regional Hospital since she was 16 years old.

Amy is survived by her mother, Sue Anne Pretty; her brother, William W. Pretty; two aunts, Mary Jane Dengler and Sharon (Larry) Parrish.

She was preceded in death by her father, James William Pretty in 1991.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:00 am at the North Monroe Cemetery, with Dr. Dan Flory officiating.
