William Eugene Dennis

William Eugene Dennis, 74, of Middletown, died Friday December 13, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born June 10, 1928 in Middletown to the late Mitchel and Myrtle (Brooks) Dennis.

Mr. Dennis was a retired Lt. for the Middletown Fire Department. He also worked for Denny Lumber of Middletown and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Louise (Vitori) Dennis of Middletown, Five sons Richard (Pam) Dennis, David (Beth) Dennis, Robert, John, and Tony Dennis all of Middletown, two daughters, Gina (Jim) Hugar of Monroe, and Lisa Long of Middletown. He is also survived by one sister Gerry Long of West Virginia, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

His parents and one brother Don Dennis preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday December 18 at Holy Family Parish St. John's Church at 10:30 am with Father John Civille as Celebrant.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 17 from 5 to 8 pm at the Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.).

Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
