Ruth Yinger

Ruth Helen Yinger, 89, of Monroe, Ohio, died February 15, 2011, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 4, 1922 to parents Eli A. and Blanche I. (Lewis) Yinger.

Miss Yinger graduated from Ohio Wesleyan in 1943 with a bachelor degree, and Xavier University in 1965 with a master degree in education.

Miss Yinger taught for 35 years, here and abroad. Most of her teaching career was in the Lemon Monroe School District. She taught in Ceylon, now known as Sri Lanka for the Peace Corps from 1962-1964. She retired in 1978 from Middletown City School District.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and other family members.
