Robert Easterling

Robert R. Easterling, 85, formerly of Middletown, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at The Knolls of Oxford, where he had been a resident for 4 months. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 27, 1920 to parents Arlie Richard and Susan (Banks) Easterling.

Mr. Easterling worked as an accountant and was a member of St. Paul´s United Church of Christ. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Cathy (Don) Lau of Hamilton, and Debbie (Steve) Bell of Reading, CA; two sons, Jan (Nancy) Easterling of Vonore, TN and Robert (Jennifer) Easterling of Centerville; two sisters, Patricia Easterling of Middletown and Marilyn Gwinn of Las Vegas, NV; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Easterling in Feb 2006; and his parents.

Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family, with Reverend Susan Jones Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
