Oscar Paul Klatt

Oscar Paul Klatt, 85, passed Thursday July 21, 2011 at Residence of Kensington Place where he had been a resident for 4 years. He retired from Champion Paper in 1985 after 35 years of service. Oscar was an avid gardener and helpful neighbor. He was a charter member of the deaf congregation at Grace Baptist Church where he volunteered to bus deaf children to services.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Onalene (Flemming) Klatt, son Paul Klatt, daughter Ruth Sweitzer, sister Ruth Wells and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday July 26, 2011 at 2:00pm at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2pm at the church. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
