Naomi Ruth Wilkinson

Naomi Ruth Wilkinson, 80, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009, at her home. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on January 1, 1929 the daughter of Gobel and Clemmie (Kesling) Blevins. She was married to Roger Wilkinson for 59 years before his passing in 2006.

Ruth worked for Monsanto for 25 years, retiring in 1983 when she and her husband, Roger, moved to Cape Coral, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who, after retirement, volunteered for 10 years at Caloosa Elementary School where her daughter, Cindy, is a teacher. She was a member of Cape Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wilkinson is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Bill) Faulkner; son, Gary (Kimberly) Wilkinson; sister, Phyllis Ferguson; and grandchildren, Stephanie Faulkner, Kyle, Kody and Jesse Wilkinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; son, Scott Wilkinson; her parents; brothers, Carl, Henry & James Blevins; and sister, Mabel Barr.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
