Minnie Lois Winkler

Minnie Lois Winkler, 85, of Danville, KY, died Saturday, August 29, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on July 10, 1930 to parents Millard and Provey (Smithers) Lutes.

Minnie was a member of Prosser Chapter #367 Order of Eastern Star in Middletown and was a life member of VFW Post 3634 in Danville, Kentucky. She loved to bake, crochet & make quilts.

Mrs. Winkler is survived by her daughters, Connie Goodlett & Sharon Jones; brother, Roger Lutes; sister, Virginia Thomas; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne D. Winkler; parents; brother, Hubert Lutes; sisters, Evelyn King, Betty Evans & Barbara Webb; and great grandson, Jason Dennis.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with Eastern Star services being held at 2:00 pm by Prosser Chapter #367 OES. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
