Mary Louise Lantis

Mary Louise Lantis, 90, of Middletown, died Thursday, June 27, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown on Augustust 19, 1911 to parents Otto Emerson and Carrie (Schmidt) Berk.

Mrs. Lantis was a clerk at First National Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, belonged to the Friends Through True Fellowship and the Grandmothers' Club.

She is survived by her son, Richard B. Lantis of Centerville, two grandchildren, Saundra (Rick)Pearce and Lisa (John) Rossi and four great grandchildren, Ricky & Allison Pearce and Kelli & Jenni Rossi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willard "Lefty" Lantis in 1999, a son robert Larry Lantis in 1994, a brother, Robert F. Berk and sister, Helen Berk Flagler.

Funeral services wil be Monday, July 1, 2002 at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. at 10 AM with Reverend David Chivington officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
