Mary Ellen Frazier

Mary Ellen (Dunn) Frazier, 67, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Rita Louis in Newnan, Georgia, with whom she had been residing for the past two years. After a brave and lengthy battle, she succumbed to cancer.

Mary was born to John Howard Dunn and Zetta (Long) Dunn on February 9, 1936 in Reading, Ohio. She attended Middletown schools and after completion, moved to New Buffalo, Michigan. There she worked for the C & O Railroad as a clerk. Later, she moved to Barstow, California and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a dispatcher. At the time of her illness she was working for the Southern California Water Company. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Newnan, Georgia and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many friends and family.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Rita Louis of Newnan, Georgia, Tamara Payne of Lake Havisaw, Nevada, and Mitzi Frazier of Tucson, Arizona; three sons, Bruce (Debra) Frazier of Avondale, Colorado, Steve (Pam) Frazier of Franklin, Tennessee, and Donald Frazier of Kansas City, Kansas; one brother, James E. (Glenna) Dunn of Middletown, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Frazier in 1988; her father in 1976; her mother in 1993; and a brother, Robert Eugene Dunn in 1959.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Pastor Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
