Mae Delores Cowgill

Mae Delores Cowgill, 75, of Monroe, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown, on September 7, 1929 to parents Raliegh R. and Abbie Bessie (Williams) Lawson.

Mrs. Cowgill retired from Crystal Tissue where she had worked in packing.

Mrs. Cowgill is survived by one brother, Clarence “Butch” Lawson of FL; a daughter-in-law, Mary Gregory of Monroe; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Heather) Cowgill of Franklin, and Joseph (Michelle) Cowgill of Springboro; and four great grandchildren, Emily, Justin, Brandon, & Taylor Cowgill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin M. Cowgill in 1996; a son, Larry Dean Cowgill in 1981; a daughter, Delores Jean Cowgill in 1959; a brother, Lloyd Walter Lawson in 1949; and her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend Kevin Collins officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, prior to the funeral, from 12-2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
