Mabel Burcham

Mabel Burcham, 93, of Middletown, died Thursday, February 15, 2006, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Middletown, on November 6, 1912 to parents Pruitt and Elizabeth (Walls) Brown.

Mabel worked as a cafeteria manager for Middletown School System, retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Paul´s United Church of Christ.

Mabel is survived by her son, David (Nancy) Burcham of Hamilton; and two grandchildren, Julie Ann Burcham and Michael David Burcham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Burcham in 1966; her parents; brothers, Otto Brown, James W. Brown, William Brown, and George Brown; and sisters, Mary Reintjes Giltrow, Maggie Brown, and Pearl Brown.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 17, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Reverend Susan Jones Thompson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, prior to the service from 9 - 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
