Lucy Henson

Lucille “Lucy” Henson, 62, of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on November 14, 1942 to parents Alva and Mary (Deep) Harrison.

Lucy worked as an instructor at the YMCA for 36 years and was active in many sports. She was a member of University Baptist Church for over 20 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Lucy is survived by her husband, George Henson; two sons, Wayne (Sandy) Henson of Hamilton and Jeff (Molly) Henson of Miamisburg; one sister, Mary Dowrey; five brothers, Tom Harrison, Alva Harrison Jr., Leon Harrison, Jim Harrison, and Kenny Harrison; and six grandchildren, Wayne, Josh, David, Cassie, Chaz, & Zach Henson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joann Rutherford and Georgia Grant; and brothers, Edison, Gray, Winston, Howard, & Troy Harrison.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 19, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Nolan Phillips officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
