Louise Lawson

Louise Lawson, 73, of Franklin, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on December 12, 1930 to parents Kern and Serena (Watson) Lawson.

Louise worked as a tax accountant for LM Berry Company Yellow Pages, retiring in 1992. She was currently working at Wendy´s in Springboro.

Louise had a servant heart. She was faithful to visit friends in nursing homes, and the shut-ins at their homes. She was a member of Stratford Heights Church of God where she was active in the Dorcas Circle, and as a greeter. She loved baking and decorating cakes. She was a wonderful cook and gave away many, many pounds of homemade cookies, candy, and sweets for Christmas and birthday gifts, get well, and any other occasion that arose.

Louise is survived by her sister, Audrey Purdum of Franklin, OH; two nephews, Gary (Kay) Short of Trenton, OH, and Bob (Michelle) Arkill of Springboro, OH; three nieces, Jill Leath of Gonzales, Louisiana, Melissa (Steve) Shultz of Indianapolis, IN, and Temple (Rick) Brown of Lebanon, OH; four great nephews and five great nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lois Arkill

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Stratford Heights Church of God with Pastor Walter D. Watkins officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the on going ministry at Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Rd., Middletown, OH 45042.
