Julia M Root

Julia Root, 77, of Middletown, died on September 23, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown, OH on October 24, 1930 to parents Constantine and Elvira (Sora) Capozzi.

She is survived by one son: John H. Root of Centerville; brothers: Frank and Richard Capozzi; sister: Ida Pearce; grandchildren, Jennifer(Bobby) Van Hoose, Christine, Anthony, Mary & Sarah Root; and great grandchild, Jacob Van Hoose.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband John L. Root, her parents, brothers Tony and Jerry Capozzi and sister Nancy Castellano.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Emmanuel Roman Catholic Church, 149 Franklin St. Dayton, OH, Monday September 29, 2008 at 10:30 AM with Father Lee L. Sciarrotta as celebrant. Visitation will be at the church Monday from 10 to 10:30AM. Interment will be at Dayton National Cemetery.
