Goldie Darlene Hunter

Goldie Darlene Hunter, 74, of Middletown, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. She was born in Lebanon, Ohio on February 10, 1940 to parents Russell and Margaret (Throckmorton) Coyle.

Darlene worked for General Electric. She enjoyed dancing, clogging, spending time outdoors, traveling and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Hunter is survived by her sons, Joe (Jill) Klontz, Jim (Cindy) Klontz; daughters, Cindi (Tony) Daddabbo, Laura Hunter; brother, Michael (Cristy) Newton; sister, Cindy (Paul) Greene and 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary Hunter of 46 years; brother, Clarence Newton; sister, Janice Highlander, special friend, Penny Tripp.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hawthorn Glen Senior Living and the staff of Hospice Care of Middletown for their love and care.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Kelly McInerney officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery.
